I have recently been nominated as the chairman of Fagráð, the expert council for safety of glacier tours in the Vatnajökull National Park. This is a position I have held since council was created in the aftermath of the tragic accident in August 2024, and I feel deeply honored that both the National Park and the community as a whole has entrusted me with continuing this work.

This is however a very time intensive commitment, especially in the winter months, and to do it well I will not be able to accept general bookings.
